Job description
An opportunity has arisen for a data analyst to join our stroke team at the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The post-holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of a variety of reports and analysis including ad-hoc requests as well as performance reviews of local and national data. The role will provide support to both clinical and non-clinical services in making effective business decisions and delivering operational efficiencies with in the stroke team this will involve investigating complex information requirements, defining and measuring performance indicators. A key part of the role is to ensure all statutory and contractual reporting commitments are met. In addition the role will support and contribute to the development and quality assuring developments. Excellent communication skills are required as the post holder will be working closely with management teams across Frimley Park hospital and the Royal Surrey to explain complex information and how this relates to business processes. Good organisational skills and the ability to plan own work is essential. Applicants will be required to have strong database manipulation skills using Excel. Applicants will be knowledgeable on the subjects of data protection, confidentiality and data governance.
