Job description
ACS are recruiting for a Cleaning Operative on the Godolphin estate, Snailwell Road, Newmarket.
This position is 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and pay starts at £10.90 per hour.
In addition to general cleaning duties, you will also be required to assist in the equine laundry when cover is needed on a Saturday. This shift would begin at 5.30am and would be around 6 hours. Any extra hours worked will be paid as overtime.
This position may require some driving around the site, so a clean driving licence is preferred.
Previous experience in a commercial laundry setting is preferred, but training will be provided. You will need the ability to work independently and use initiative, as part of a wider team. You will follow Health and Safety standards at all times.
We expect our team members to show great attention to detail, and have good verbal and written communication skills. You should be educated to at least National Level 1, eg GCSE or equivalent.
We ask you to be smart, reliable and responsible, and have a flexible approach to work, as there will be opportunities for overtime when cover is required.
