Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician on a permanent basis for our Corporate Accounting team.

We are looking for an independent problem-solver to support our Corporate Bulk Plants and Cardlocks, which exist to aid in the distribution of energy products. This support will require the successful candidate to perform reconciliations on a regular basis using systems including mainframe and JD Edwards. As such, candidates should be able to grasp new technology quickly and communicate effectively.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and will be based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you'll do:

• Complete Corporate Bulk Plant and Cardlock reconciliations, investigating variances and preparing adjusting entries.
• Prepare a weekly report for all bulk locations with an analysis of significant overages and shortages.
• Reconcile various general ledger and receivable accounts.
• Other duties as required.

Who you'll work with:

The successful candidate will report into the Operational Support Accounting Supervisor and will often interact with individuals in corporate accounting, at the CRC, and on energy focused teams.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in accounting and:

• Have a high school diploma and two post-secondary courses in financial accounting (from an accredited post-secondary institution).
• Have two years of relevant accounting experience.
