Job Description
As our Furniture Delivery Specialist and Driver you will be responsible for delivering, moving and assembling furniture to clients in a safe and timely manner. You will be responsible for maintenance and safety reporting and adherence to MTO regulations. Our drivers work well in a team setting, support their coworkers on the job and provide professional and friendly client service.
We provide full training in service and delivery, safe transport and furniture assembly.
We reward great performance! Starting pay is $20/hour with the opportunity for an increased rate to $23/hour after probationary period based on customer service performance, accuracy and development of skills.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles: 18-24 Ft – Cube/Box, Straight Truck (Automatic Transmission).
- Work alone and as a multi-person team to safely deliver furniture to customers.
- Load, unload, and safely transport various furniture items.
- Lift, move, unpack and assemble furniture at delivery locations using safety and procedural training standards.
- Maintain ongoing professional and friendly communication with customers and all team members.
- Comply with federal and provincial road and traffic regulations and company driving and vehicle policies.
- Conduct inspection of vehicles for mechanical operation and/or safety issues.
- Immediately report defects/safety issues/maintenance needs, accidents or violations.
- Document and log work/rest periods in accordance with regulatory requirements and/or company policies.
- Complete additional work in the warehouse or on-location as required.
- Complete daily paperwork according to company policies and requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 25 years of age (for company insurance coverage purposes)
- Valid G Class Driver’s License required and minimum 3 years’ driving experiences.
- Clear Driving Record: No more than 2 driving infractions (speeding tickets, accidents, distracted driving). No major infractions in the last three years).
- Experience driving 18-24 ft trucks in GTA and Ontario (minimum 1 year required).
- Previous experience: delivery, warehouse and shipping experience is considered an asset.
- Physically fit: able to consistently lift and carry furniture items weighing up to 75-100 lbs unassisted, including stair carries.
- English language: (strong verbal and written communication skills).
- Safety shoes required.
Flexible schedule: willingness to work extended shifts and Saturdays.

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
