Job title: Delivery Driver
Department: Retail
Responsible to: Regional Retail Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
Probation Period: 6 Months
Salary/Hourly Rate: £10.50 per hour
Hours of work: 35 Hours per week
Annual Leave: 28 days
Location: PACT Shops deliveries
Job Purpose
To deliver stock, stationary to shops and picking up stock from shops, house clearances, pick up items from customer’s and shop outlets, keeping control of stock movement between shops and managing a small storage unit, lifting and carrying heavy furniture. Customer and staff high standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing all deliveries and collections
- Knowledge of furniture sales and deliveries
- High customer service standards
- To work as part of a team and individually
- Complying with health and safety policies
- Must be hands on as high levels of donations and large furniture.
- Working 5 days a week
- Work bank holidays when needed.
Person Specification:
Experience:
Essential:
- A genuine interest in animal care/welfare.
- Strong Customer Service experience
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of furniture
- Manual handling
- Excellent customer service

- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to use initiative.
- Ability to multitask.
- Good organisational skills.

- Full current UK driving licence
