Job Purpose

Holiday Fuel Delivery Drivers are responsible for loading petroleum products into a truck and safely delivering them to Holiday Oil stores and other customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and properly load, transport, and unload petroleum products
• Understands and follows all state, federal, and company safe-driving regulations
• Ability to complete necessary paperwork for all delivered loads.
• Works closely with transportation supervisors to maintain a safe work environment.
• Responsible for ensuring proper truck maintenance to ensure the company and employee follows all state, federal, and company safe-driving regulations.
• Ensures truck and trailer are properly maintained through appropriate pre- and post-trip procedures, as well as reporting maintenance needs in a timely manner.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Skills, Education and Certification Requirements

• Must possess at least one year of related experience.
• Must possess a Valid Class A CDL from state of residence with all proper endorsements (Tanker Hazmat, Doubles/Triples, TWIC Card).
• Successful completion of Holiday Trucking company driving test, background check, and DOT drug test.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT physical exam and current medical card.
• This position must possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, external customers, and outside agencies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with technology, learn new software programs, and accurately enter data into tablet/iPad.
• Must be able to prioritize workload.
• Ability to read and interpret maps.
• Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and take direction as needed.
