IT Support Engineer
£28,000 - £34,000 per annum + Car Allowance
We are a growing enterprise, working with prestige and volume brands in the automotive industry. We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support assistant / 1st line engineer to join the current IT Team as an IT Support Assistant. This is a hybrid role based at our Maidstone or Farnborough dealership. You will be responsible for resolving IT issues at our group car dealerships.
About the position
The successful candidate for our IT Support Vacancy vacancy will have previous experience in a similar role and proven IT and customer service skills.
A large part of the IT Support Engineer role includes;
- Onsite support work at our dealership locations
- Resolving IT technical issues at 1st Line & 2nd Line
- Liaising with Infrastructure support
- Supporting Group IT Helpdesk with Remote Telephone Support
- Logging tickets within the group helpdesk platform
About our requirements
We expect you to demonstrate some skills that will prove very beneficial in the position, including;
- Motor Trade ideal, but not essential
- Keyloop Autoline Systems experience ideal, but not essential
- Understanding of cyber security
- MS Exchange
- Active Directory
- MS Server 2008 / 2012
- WIFI / Networking
- MS Windows operating & office software
- Laptop, Desktop, Server, printer, hardware
- Apple and Android Mobile Devices
- 1 year + experience
