The Logistics Centre employs over 1000 ambitious, committed and motivated colleagues who share our values and take responsibility for all daily distribution and Logistics operations for the UK/IE online and over 250 stores.​ Job Description As a DC Planner you will ensure full end-to-end staff capacity optimization across inbound and outbound operations. Responsibilities Lead the planning and scheduling for short term staff capacity based on latest supply and demand forecasts. Optimize staff hours across all In and Outbound functions of the DC. Closely align with operational Inbound and Outbound departments. Manage short term needs to DC associate teams, including day to day communication with the agencies. Monitor temp agencies to deliver according to plan and ensure workforce. Act as a key owner of labour management tool Proactively identify & address future capacity needs with DC Mgmt., Operational Heads, DC Controlling & Regional SalesOps (via DC Mgmt.) Support, advise and coach operational teams on planning within budget and production requirements Continuously work on improving planning routines, tools and new ways of working. Competencies Knowledge of DC garment flow and staff capacity requirements across all DC departments Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach Solid expertise in staff capacity planning Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to collaborate and co-create with others Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth Inclusive and empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity Ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture This is an office based role.
