We are currently looking for a mechanical service administrator to help run the day to day operations of the mechanical side of the business working with our service manager.
Role: Service Administrator / Assistant Manager
Location: Valley Road, Plympton
Permanent Role – 42.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Holiday: 28 days holiday including bank holidays
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MOTOR TRADE EXPERIENCE
Colebrook Car Service Centre & Transporters are looking for a Customer Service Administrator/Assistant Manager to join the team! To provide an excellent service supporting the office staff and to provide a top-quality service to our customers with various duties including:
Communicating with the workshop technicians and customers to ascertain the level of work required and gain authorisation.
Booking customers vehicles in for a variety of work including servicing, MOT’s, maintenance, and conversion jobs.
Selling relevant products and services
Contacting our suppliers and ordering parts & materials Making the customers experience as enjoyable as possible, whilst providing the very highest level of customer service.
Answering the phone and forwarding calls to relevant internal departments - communicating job status to customer.
Follow up with every customer in terms of work in progress and on completion of work.
Providing administrative support internally to our office team.
This role will be under the supervision of our Service Manager but the successful candidate will be required to fulfil the managers role during holiday/leave periods.
Knowledge & Skills;
Full driving licence
The ability to work as part of a small dedicated team with the aim of delivering outstanding customer service Excellent phone manner and flexibility to apply yourself to a variety of roles daily is a must and if you’re able to demonstrate initiative and a positive attitude, while working to tight deadlines we’re looking for you.
The ideal applicant will be highly organised, able to work on their own initiative, conscientious, personable, able to plan and prioritise their work and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous Experience in the Motor Trade is essential to be considered for this role.
A competitive salary, fully reflecting the importance of this role within our business will be awarded to the successful candidate with a pay review at the end of a successful probation period - depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year (depending on experience) Overtime is available at our overtime rate once the successful candidate is settled in
