We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Hastings Vets4Pets practice.
Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. You will assist all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care. This is a Veterinary Care Assistant role with 50% reception responsibilities and 50% assisting the vets and nurses.
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week including 1 in 3 weekends. If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare, exceptional customer service and would like to join our team, then we would love to hear from you.
Our new colleague will be empathetic, passionate about the industry and will be compassionate about animal care; someone who strives to deliver the very best service for our animals and clients, every single time. The role involves animal handling and predominantly supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice, therefore we are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience and animal based qualifications. There will be significant reception and front of house responsibility with the role therefore you will also need to have strong communication and previous customer service skills.
The successful candidate will ideally have 5 GCSEs of grad A-5/4-9 (Or equivalent) to include Maths, English and Biology. (or equivalent, e/g Animal Management Level 3 or Level 2 Veterinary Nursing Assistant)
