Job description
The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and innovative Nursery Manager to run one of our well-established and popular nurseries at St Meriadoc Infant Academy.
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and how to deliver learning opportunities in creative and exciting ways. You will have experience supporting children with SEND and ensuring the best outcomes for all.
As Nursery Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Planning stimulating and creative learning experiences, following the school’s curriculum under the guidance of the EYFS Leader.
· Day to day running of the nursery, including managing and deploying staff.
· Promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
· Adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils and setting high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge all pupils.
· Promoting pupil progress and outcomes.
· Promoting teaching and learning in outdoor spaces.
· Demonstrating good subject and curriculum knowledge of the 7 areas of learning and knowledge of Development Matters and other relevant EYFS literature.
· Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures, so as to support the school’s Christian vision and values.
· Using effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school’s policy and procedures.
