Our Pastoral Support Team would like to welcome a highly organised and experienced Administrator to support its Assistant Headteacher: Pastoral and House Leaders for in our Student Services Department. This is a varied role and is ideally suited to someone who has administrative experience within a busy office environment, has a flexible approach to working and who has the discretion to deal with sensitive and confidential data. Other key qualities include good IT skills; ability to work systematically, accurately and efficiently and a willingness to work collaboratively.
The role is varied and will involve:
- Maintaining student data and records and providing summary reports for the Assistant Headteacher and House Leaders;
- Being the first point of contact for students in the department; • Co-ordinating Whole School Awards events;
- Co-ordinating immunisation sessions with the School Nurse and other Pastoral staff;
- Providing general administrative support including correspondence, filing, co-ordinating meetings and taking Minutes;
- Liaising with primary schools during the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 and with any in year transfers, processing applications, co-ordinating visits and maintaining accurate records;
- Supporting the smooth running of the Department.
