We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join our team! As a SQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and performing critical SQL Server systems. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This is a remote opportunity which is only open to candidates in Austin, Chicago, Miami, and Toronto.

Do you feel…

• Capable of managing the SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. Manage Always On, Replication, and Azure connectivity
• Excited to configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring system health and performance, to ensure high-performance levels, availability, and security
• Keen to identify and fix SQL Server performance issues, query optimization, and stored procedure performance improvement
• Able to provide 24x7 support for critical production systems

You are ideally…

• Possess 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Server Administration (required).
• Experienced with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experienced with backups, restores, and recovery models
• Knowledgeable of High Availability (HA) – Always On and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Experienced working with Windows servers, including Active Directory, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
• Experienced working on SSIS packages
