The Hiring Heroes are proudly recruiting on behalf of a well established company in Bradford and THE market leader in manufacturing of their products!

Responsibilities

  • All Production Operatives are requested to assist in any of the department areas - Raw materials, Warehouse, Pre-Weigh, Mixing, Sieving, Packing and Cleaning
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Ensure smooth running of production departments
  • Implement new ideas/methods and continue to seek ways of both improving the departments contribution to the Company’s goals and enhancing the reputation
  • Help with stocktakes
  • Label printing
  • Cleaning procedures on machinery and equipment
  • Maintain the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards and good manufacturing practices to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Operate sit and ride cleaner
  • Follow health and safety policies and promote safety awareness
  • Staff will also carry out such additional or alternative tasks as the Company may from time to time reasonably require and be required to participate in any training deemed necessary by the Company to properly perform their duties.

About You

  • You must be able to read and understand a good level of English for health and safety reasons. This is also important as you will need to follow operating instructions on machinery/equipment and instructions on computer touch screens.
  • Someone with initiative.
  • Someone that can commit to both shifts.
  • Someone that wants strong progression within a company.

Other Opportunities

There are opportunities to drive company forklift trucks and motorised pallet trucks. In-house training will be provided.

Hours

Working hours are 6.30am – 3pm or 8.50am – 5.20pm. They work on a rotational basis, so one week on earlies then the next week on lates and so on. (If you are on the late shift on a Friday the hours are (8am – 4.30pm).

There are 2 breaks on each shift, one 30 minute unpaid lunch break and one 20 minute paid break. Total working hours for the week is 40 hours.

Pay

Starting rate is £10.42ph.
