Data Scientist, Personal Lines Pricing
Location: Multiple locations on offer
Salary: up to £80,000 + bonus

As a Personal Lines Pricing Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven pricing strategies to support the personal lines insurance business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and/or natural language processing (NLP), have the ability to work with several data types, strong knowledge of big data technologies and tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, etc.), experience of Microsoft Azure and advanced coding skills in Python.
Some of the key things you'll be responsible for:
- Analysing large datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Develop and implement predictive models using ML, DL, and NLP techniques
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Be a key point of contact for the wider business (especially the pricing team) for anything data science related.
- Work with data engineers to ensure that data is properly prepared and stored for analysis
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of data science and personal lines, and share your knowledge with the team
- Train and mentor junior members to help further their development and the success of the team
