The successful candidate will be based in London.
Your role
- Identify, evaluate, and process data sources of structured and unstructured datasets of high value add for the investment.
- Perform exploratory analysis, conduct research, and build statistical and machine learning models, to enhance our investment processes.
- Work closely with our data engineers and DevOps for the data acquisition pipelines and the deployment of new models.
- Organize workshops to engage with potential stakeholders from inside PAM. You will facilitate the ideation process by collecting ideas and scoping them into precise projects.
Your profile
- Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience on a similar role.
- Expert in Python and the standard Data Science packages (pandas, SciPy, etc.) and experience with relational database programming (SQL).
- Experience in statistical modelling and machine learning.
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
- Experience in Deep Learning using Pytorch.
- Strong communication skills, capable of communicate with a non-technical audience.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing would be a plus.
- Experience with cloud computing in AWS would be a plus.
- Knowledge or experience in finance would be a plus.
- You are a team player and comfortable working as part of a global team with a deliver-first mindset and a positive attitude towards challenging situations. Bringing clarity out of ambiguity, you can multi-task and balance conflicting priorities.
