Position Details
As the Manager, Data and Analytics for ecoATM Gazelle, you will be responsible for delivering analysis, recommendations, and insights derived from deep analytical modeling, utilizing both internal and external data sources, to senior members of the organization. The ideal candidate will have an appetite for continuously asking questions from data and applying sophisticated analytical techniques to explain key performance drivers which will define corporate strategy and enable effective decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggregate and interpret data from various sources to construct ad hoc analysis, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that may be valuable for identifying key drivers of results
- Develop complex, automated and ad-hoc business models using current Business Information Systems and apply to the development, execution and improvement of action plans and forecasts
- Identify key performance drivers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders
- Manage relationships and expectations by effectively communicating project scope, commitments, and results both as a lead and as a participant
- Lead and participate in special projects/initiatives: innovate and implement large-scale quality improvements to processes and/or data feeds by making recommendations and coordinating with data team
- Demonstrate a clear ability to identify business requirements and needs without being directly guided
- Track and build key performance dashboards to report state of the business and its highest priority initiatives
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a quantitative field like Economics, Mathematics or Statistics) or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience solving complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches through a blend of data sciences, analytical, mathematical, and technical skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Advanced experience utilizing analytics automation tools (Alteryx, Talend, Datarobots, etc.)
- Strong SQL programming skills
- Expertise in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets with a variety of tools
- Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
- Desire to solve business problems and to find patterns and insights within structured and unstructured data
- Demonstrated ability to make data visually appealing and simple to both navigate and comprehend for business users
- Strong consultative and advisory skills
- Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills when solving problems
- Able to synthesize complex and diverse data in order to draw logical conclusions
- Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management

Pay Range
$122,172 - $167,986 (annually)
Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per CA SB 1162 (“CA Pay Transparency Law”). Base pay information is based on market location. This position may also be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives based on individual and company performance.
