This is an exciting opportunity to join the people team in the new role of People Team Manager! This has been created to support regional people activity across the Leeds and South Yorkshire regions.
You'll be working across both regions and report to the Regional People Partner, supporting them with various activities; from organisational planning through to Team Manager succession planning and delivering operational people delivery.
This will include working with line managers on absence and performance management with the continued advice and coaching from our Line Manager Advisory Service.
Regional mobility will be required across both Leeds and South Yorkshire regions.
Key accountabilities:
Develop remarkable people
Coordinate all Team Manager moves across the regions, ensuring a robust succession plan is in place across stores
Enable a pipeline of diverse Team Managers by working with the Store Managers, Regional People Partner and Academy Learning Partner to identify talent, and building development plans, focusing on Stage One of our Stepping Into Store Management programme.
100% accurate execution
Work with the Regional People Partner to identify regional risk including absence cases, performance needs and training
Work with the Academy Learning Partner to identify newly appointed Team Managers and provide follow-up coaching to ensure success in role
Analyse People data and insights making recommendations to follow through actions.
Use data to find opportunities to promote the use of MyHR, LMAS and Colleague Services in Stores, driving self-service compliance in operational people processes
Drive performance
Support Store teams to deliver people processes to a high standard e.g., Disciplinary & Grievance, colleague engagement, performance management and absence.
Support the Regional People Partner & Regional Managers with regional People Activity as required.
