Our client, Holmusk, are a data science and health technology company on a mission to capture real-world evidence to transform research and care for mental health. They combine leading behavioural health database with AI-powered analytics and digital solutions to fuel innovation and research.
Due to their continued growth and expansion of their award-winning decision support system (MaST), they are now seeking an experienced Data Analyst (Digital Health) to join their UK team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day implementation of MaST for existing NHS clients as well as the development and adaptation of MaST for new clients and future solutions.
Data Analyst (Digital Health), the role:
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of mental health data
- Working closely with NHS client sites and MaST clinical team
- Gathering feedback on the products from clients and clinical colleagues
- Recommending valuable improvements to the team regarding analytics and data visualisation
- Collaborating with the technical team so analytics are seamlessly incorporated into MaST
- Sharing insights with the wider Holmusk Business
- Developing expertise and upholding information governance, clinical safety requirements and ethical standards
Data Analyst (Digital Health), the person:
- Strong communication skills with experience of translating non-technical suggestions into quantitative analysis
- Previous experience of handling healthcare data sets, preferably with mental health
- Highly developed, passionate problem-solving ability -
- Understanding of advanced scripting for SQL based databases, ideally SQL server
- Working knowledge of electronic patient records used by the NHS
- Competent with database structure design and predictive algorithms
- Excellent analysis and presentation of results
- Passion for improving healthcare with the desire to explore the ‘why’ of analysis results
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders’ priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail, motivated and proactive
