Job description
Lowri Beck, part of the Calisen Group, is in an exciting and strong position where we are seeing growth and development in all areas of the business. An opportunity has become available for a Data Analyst to join our Non-Half Hourly Data Collection / Data Aggregation (NHHDC/DA) Team within our Data Services department.
The Data Analyst will assist with the operational workload of the NHHDC/DA team, validating, investigating, analysing, and resolving any day-to-day operational issues and managing front line queries.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday on a hybrid basis working from home, with travel to our Wigan office at least 2 days per week, with a salary of £21,450.00 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
- Validating and processing data received from other industry agents.
- Diagnosing, analysing and resolving data issues/values
- Learning and understanding electricity & gas industry processes and local work instructions.
- Processing inbound and outbound industry data-flows.
- Checking, sending, receiving, and loading files via the Data Transfer Network (DTN).
- Adhering to contractual and industry driven deadlines.
- Liaising with and dealing with queries from energy suppliers and other industry agents through various communication channels (i.e., email, phone, Microsoft Teams etc…)
- Preparing and analysing operational and management reports.
- Developing, testing, and implementing new business processes and functionality.
- Answering telephone queries where required.
- Dealing with escalated queries delegated by Team Leader / Seniors.
What we are looking for
- Good standard of general education (GCSEs or equivalent).
- Numerate.
- Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisation & administration skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Any previous industry related data analysis experience such as within NHHDC/DA/MOA services, would be desirable.
