Job description
It is the responsibility of the Central Data Acquisition Specialist to perform file acquisition and inspection routines to support the timely acquisition and accuracy of Agency data files required for LERETA’s on-line systems and reporting cycles. The Central Data Acquisition Specialist also assists the Agency Relations Specialist (ARS) Team in evaluating and employing automated methods of data exchange in support of servicing systems and order volume.
Data File Ordering
- Maintain CDA and G360 Tracking systems to ensure timely file order processing.
- Initiates the timely requests for automated agency information files.
- Requests checks from accounting based for agency file fees.
- Packages and issues appropriate requests to Tax Collectors based on ordering information obtained from agencies and stored in CDA tracking.
- Monitors and maintains file costs and ordering information in CDA tracking.
Data File Follow Up
- Controls agency file data acquisition efforts with thorough follow up with agencies and documentation in CDA Tracking.
Call Report Verification
- Maintain CDA and G360 Tracking systems to ensure timely file validation processing.
- Verifies call amounts, handle manual codes and tax information to meet department target file load dates and/or within 72 hours of file receipt, emphasizing quality and accuracy.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Follows department and company procedures to document all data order lists, call reports and quality control reports in a location defined by LERETA (SharePoint, company server) without exposing or disclosing company sensitive material.
- Works with FACL department leaders and peers to support the goals and needs of Tax Operations. Attends scheduled huddles held by report processing teams and department leaders.
- Communicates status of assignments and opportunities for improving the department’s performance to the Manager and/or CDA Lead.
- Maintains knowledge of LERETA’s processes and procedures, follows established guidelines and identifies opportunities for process improvement to align individual performance with department objectives.
- Actively participate in special projects as assigned and engage in continuous process improvement initiatives.
SALARY RANGE $16.34 - $20.43
