The role
This role provides a reporting service within the Payroll function across the Payroll Service Line and the wider Azets business. Creating and maintaining a tiered suite of ‘Self-Serve’ reports available to the Payroll Managers and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The role will also use reporting to provide Management Information (MI) to allow the business to implement and measure KPIs and SLAs and to understand a range of People metrics aligned to our Payroll roadmap and legislative requirements.
The Key responsibilities can be summarised as:
- Create and deliver accurate reporting, analysis and dashboards to provide insight and trends to support decision making and inform the business
- Ensure all reporting is delivered with the end user in mind, with reports being easy to use and understand
- Use Azets systems to export data to be analysed
- Understand reporting requirements within the Payroll Service Line. Using expertise to advise on data solutions to deliver these outcomes and create and maintain a suite of scheduled reports that can be ran as and when they are required
- Proactively and continuously review business reporting requirements to enhance the suite of reports available to ensure they continue to support our changing people objectives
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the flow of requests, resolution time and overall efficiency to reporting aligned to the continued evolvement of the Payroll Service Line
- Ensure all users are proficient to access data, run scheduled reports and manipulate data where necessary for individual needs, providing tools to help build reporting capability across the team
- Act as a custodian of payroll data governance, ensuring consumers of data created only use reports in line with controls and permissions that have been strategically agreed
