I am currently representing and partnered with an extremely successful and forward-thinking sportswear organisation based in Manchester City Centre who are looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable Manager due to ongoing expansion of the business.

As the AR Manager, you will support all areas within accounts receivable, reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth running within the AR team.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and motivate the AR and Credit Control team
• Liaising with customers on invoice queries and payments
• Oversee weekly debtor reporting
• Daily and weekly reporting to Senior Management
• Lead on system improvements within AR
• Assist with raising and sending customer invoices and credit notes for UK and international customers
• Ensuring invoice queries are resolved efficiently
• Working with the credit controller to resolve any customer disputes
• Assist with revenue reporting
• Maintain good internal and external working relationships
• Multi-currency exposure
• Deal with international customers, and billing from non-UK entities
• Sending customer statements and copy documents as required
• Developing strict and workable credit note policies and processes
• Customer account reconciliations

Key skills/experience required:

• Minimum 3 years in an AR Manager role
• Multi-currency experience
• Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Proficient IT skills including Excel
