As a Quality Manager, you’re at the forefront of product quality, helping to ensure Kinnerton continues to produce high-quality and safe products for our customers.
This role is Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 per day (37.5 hours per week)

As a Quality Manager, you’re at the forefront of product quality, helping to ensure Kinnerton continues to produce high-quality and safe products for our customers.
You’ll work alongside our other Quality Manager, leading your area of the manufacturing plant and a team of Technical Coordinators, with responsibility for auditing, incident investigation and micro/nutritional/ allergen sampling. You will also get involved with technical improvement projects and new product launches.
This role is Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 per day (37.5 hours per week)
Key responsibilities of a Quality Manager at Kinnerton:
- Day-to-day management of the Technical Coordinators, developing the team through identifying and fulfilling training needs, coaching and leading by example.
- Supporting investigations of factory-related incidents including complaints, foreign body investigations and quality issues.
- Technical support of all product quality issues.
- Technical support for PPLM and launch meetings to support successful launches.
- Maintenance of relevant trackers and product releases.
- HACCP support through attending meetings, conducting reviews & confirming processes.
- Management of GMP audit system along with providing the business with all relevant compliance measures.
- Conduct NCR analysis to highlight emerging trends and work with relevant departments to implement CAPA and focus teams to improve performance.
- Overseeing completion of daily taste panel, ensuring that taste panel quality issues are highlighted and investigated appropriately.
- Responsible for ensuring that all product and process micro testing is conducted as per the agreed customer requirement.
- Ensuring that the site hold and repair system is effectively managed on a day-to-day basis.
- Responsible for the completion of waivers as and when required.
- Being the first point of escalation in the event of a factory floor issue and ensuring that all care is taken to protect the product and prevent a reoccurrence.
- Ensuring all relevant calibration checks by the QA teams are maintained to a compliant standard.
- Deliver Daily and weekly KPIs on owned quality assurance metrics at relevant meetings.
- Present and deliver allocated and owned quality assurance metrics at the site QFSI and operations meetings.
- Support Technical project agenda.
- Support the Internal audit system through the completion of any required audits.
- SOP approvals.
We’re looking for a confident leader with substantial quality (food manufacturing) experience who shares our company values and cares about creating quality products.
Training/Qualifications:
- Educated to food-related degree level or sufficient years’ experience within the role
- HACCP qualification (L3 or L4/Advance)
- Food Safety (L3 or L4/Advanced)
- Audit training
