AEO certified as a customs agent in both the UK and France. Due to an increase in demand for our services, are looking for an additional Customs Agent to join our established customs team.

Please note:
- This position is fully remote, you must have access to a fast internet connection.
- This position has a rotating shift pattern: Monday - Friday, Week 1: 07:00 - 16:00, week 2: 08:30 – 17:30, week 3: 10:00 - 19:00.
Main duties:
- Co-ordinating Import and Export
- Conforming to HM Revenue & Customs regulations
- Ensuring all HM Revenue & Customs duty liabilities are fulfilled
- Liaising with, customers, suppliers, necessary agents, and customs authorities
- Raising necessary paperwork concerning all movements of Dangerous Goods
Skills required for this role:
Essential:
- At least 1 years’ experience working in Exports/Imports & Customs Compliance
- Understanding of UK & EU imports customs requirements
Desirable:
- Experience using Customs systems (e.g. CDS, CNS, Destin 8, Sequoia)
- Proven ability to deal with customs procedure codes and specialist customs procedures, including CFSP and Transit
- Understanding of controlled goods or goods subject to sanitary and phytosanitary controls
- Institute of Export “Level 4 Customs Practitioner Award” or equivalent
- Experience in road transport, logistics or haulage
