We are looking for a friendly Sales and Customer Service Executive with a passion for all things food and cooking.
You'll play a vital role in driving our mission to deliver exceptional experiences every day. You’ll champion excellence by solving customer issues with both care and efficiency whilst becoming a product expert and supporting the growth of key accounts. You’ll also learn about 1000s of extraordinary ingredients and pieces of cookware – and learn to advise customers on their use.
Occasionally external factors can throw a customer’s experience off course, and your ability to quickly respond to emails and calls, liaise with carriers, manage our social profiles and continuously share feedback with the wider team will ensure that Sous Chef's customers remain delighted!
The role is remote – however, you’re applying because you love food, and so you will enjoy an occasional visit to the London office or off-site events. There you'll meet the foodie team and get to taste, touch and use the cookware and ingredients that we sell.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Speaking to customers!
- Taking orders and resolving customer queries by email and phone
- Handling exceptional requests - such as preparing quotes and advising on how to use ingredients.
- Continuous improvement - making our systems and processes better
Requirements
- 2 years+ customer service experience
- Demonstrable interest in food and cookery
- Reliable and fast internet connection
- Available to work variable shift patterns including evenings and weekends on a rota basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
