To direct and coordinate strategic projects across a contract or collection of contracts including general operations.
This could also involve mobilisations, retention initiatives and any other contract specific work. Maintaining highest possible standards of food service and overall performance, whilst maximising efficiency and profitability.
Your key responsibilities as the Project Operations Manager will consist of:
- Support site manager(s) with the development of any operational projects / issues they may need assistance with.
- Delivery of financial targets of any project.
- Ensuring compliance at each project to finance, HR, EMS and health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure projects are kept on schedule with constructive support to client and site to deliver on time and to expectation.
- Accountability of operations or mobilisation where identified.
Working Pattern: 40 Hours, Mon- Fri
Skills and Experience
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Operations Manager include:
- Proven experience of site management and a demonstrable record of delivering exceptional food and service standards.
- Outstanding customer and client focus.
- Proven experience and evidence of managing a team effectively.
- Able to adapt management style to get the best out of a team.
- Methodical and able to plan and work.
- Strong interpersonal communication and people skills enabling great interaction and relationship building with clients/Managers/Head Chefs/teams.
- Attention to detail is imperative. Financial acumen is a must.
- Knowledge of current trends in the food industry.
Because of the changing nature of our business your job description will inevitably change. You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.
