RunThrough is the UK’s leading running event organiser and inclusive running community. For 10 years, we have been working towards our mission to inspire and build a more active nation through running and putting on thousands of events for nearly one million runners.

Our community tread the roads and trails of some of the country’s most beautiful and iconic venues, as well as some of the most unique running experiences available anywhere as we deliver 200+ events a year. From 5ks to Ultra Marathons, theme parks to National Parks, RunThrough has something for everyone.

We are a tight-knit, collaborative team of enthusiastic, fun and hard-working people across our three locations in Surrey, Manchester and Loughborough.

Job Description: Working directly with our communications team to ensure all our entrants are effectively communicated with via emails and social media over the weekend period from Saturday to Monday.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and ensure efficient responses to all incoming enquiries through emails and social media from Saturday to Monday
  • Enable and facilitate event Group Bookings
  • Efficiently and accurately manage race entry data
  • Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with the running community and corporate clients
  • Continually seek out opportunities to enhance the RunThrough brand and reputation

Essential skills and knowledge:

  • A friendly and personable disposition
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and approach
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Proactive approach

Desirable:

  • A passion for health, fitness and sport
  • Experience working in mass participation sport
  • Experience working with wordpress websites and sprout social

Location: Remote, Hybrid working.

Hours required: Saturday to Monday, 8 hours a day. Overtime opportunities available.

Pay: £12ph

Length of term: 3 month probationary period, flexibility to be extended to 6 months.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00 per hour
