Job description
Customer Service Assistant
69 Linden Road, Bournville
Birmingham, B30 1JR
United Kingdom
Calling all chocolate lovers! Are you ready to join the team at Cadbury World and make chocolatey memories that will last a lifetime? We’re on the lookout for Customer Service Assistants to join our Front of House Operations team.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
- An outgoing personality and willingness to become part of our experience
- A health and safety conscious individual who is focused and driven
- Confidence in talking to groups of people with a microphone
- Literate and proficient in English with good eyesight and hearing (this can be with contact lenses, glasses, or hearing aids if required)
- A great sense of fun
As a Guest Experience Host, you'll be the face of our attraction and make sure that every guest leaves with a sweet taste in their mouth (and maybe a chocolate bar in their hand). You'll manage attraction queues, use microphones, and always maintain a positive attitude. Plus, you'll take ownership of all the equipment, keeping it in tip-top shape.
But that's not all! You'll also be obsessed with our guests, treating them as individuals and making sure their experience exceeds their wildest chocolate dreams. You'll have a good knowledge of our products, and encourage guests to participate in activities, purchase photography items and cluster tickets to other Merlin attractions.
These contracts will cover the summer period offering shifts over 7 days per week on a roster basis. Contracted hours are either 25 or 16 hours per week. Our attraction is open daily so full availability is needed, as you’ll be expected to work your fair share of weekends and school holidays.
What’s in it for you
Alongside becoming an expert in exploring and playing with chocolate, you’ll also receive:
- Fortnightly pay at £10.52 per hour
- 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants and 40% off LEGO online
- Merlin Magic Pass - giving you free tickets to all our attractions worldwide for you, your family, and friends every year
Everyone Matters at Merlin.
At Merlin we welcome the world to our magical attractions and resorts every day and we want to reflect that same multicultural mix inside our business too. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where people can be themselves, have the same opportunities and thrive together. Because at Merlin, everyone matters! Together, we work to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, no matter their age, race, gender, disability or sexual orientation. Although we understand that we'll always be learning and growing, we aim to be the most inclusive and flexible employer in our industry.
If you have any questions or if you require any assistance, because of a disability or medical condition, please contact us by email at [email protected] and one of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
