Job description
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy team, helping West Suffolk Council to support our customers and communities.
You will work as part of the Customer Services Team to provide frontline support in the delivery of services to customers and partner organisations using a range of channels including phone calls, emails, social media and e-forms. Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of local government services such as housing, waste, planning and licensing, though applications are welcomed from individuals who are willing to learn new services and systems.
The successful candidate will preferably have recent experience of working in a customer-focussed role. You will have excellent attention to detail, be an effective communicator and enjoy working at a fast pace. We are looking for someone who responds positively to change and can make a difference to our customers.
