Position Objective:


We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to support the launch and growth of a dealer websites platform that offers a seamless, integrated, and true Porsche experience for customers visiting our dealers' websites. This position will be tasked with simplifying and easing the digital responsibility of a dealership while creating new opportunities that build an outstanding and true Porsche Ownership experience.


This role will work with a highly skilled and motivated delivery team of Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Software Engineers obtaining a passion to imagine, build, test, and deploy valuable products for Porsche prospects, enthusiasts, customers, and dealers.


As a Product Owner you have the opportunity to create and lead the design of multi-platform, cross-functional, customer-facing applications which will shape the digital future of Porsche. It is essential for this role that you are empathetic and have a deep understanding of both of your immediate customers (dealers, OEMs) and the end customer (Porsche owners).

Being a champion in technical know-how to write requirements and interface with your engineering counterparts, as well as understanding how to take products to market will make you an ideal candidate.


The position is based in Atlanta, GA at the Porsche Cars North American headquarters and Experience Center and works in collaboration with another global product team based in Barcelona.

Porsche Digital Inc., will be utilizing a hybrid work model with in-office days and home-office days.


Responsibilities:

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Interact with Business users and understand Business needs.
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
  • Perfect the team’s integration into SAFe and foster its framework and rituals across the team.
  • Write and refine User Stories, Features, and Epics.
  • Collaborate closely with development and software engineering teams to communicate requirements, deliver new features, and remove roadblocks.
  • Lead the agile team.
  • Represent the team in front of stakeholders, clients or users.
  • Manage product roadmap, product backlog, feature prioritization, decision-making, and stakeholders.
  • Set Sprint and Product Increment goals for the team.
  • Establish and own the metrics to drive engagement and value for internal and external customers.
  • Design integrations with other applications to fulfil business requirements.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Coordinate with other (global & local) Agile Product Owners and Product Managers to deliver on a vision that crosses multiple delivery streams or release train and fits the company portfolio.
  • Assess product performance against KPIs and make corrections to improve performance.
  • Research and analyze the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
  • Maintain a watchful eye on our competitors and the industry.
  • Manage capabilities and resources associated with the assigned digital products.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of digital product development experience, including 3+ years as a Product Owner
  • Agile or SAFe (preferred) development knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally with a variety of different domains, i.e., Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Business Development.
  • Working experience in full product lifecycle methodologies.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a timely fashion, with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of digital market conditions and trends.
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be applied across a diverse set of audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player.
  • Experience in automotive sales or marketing is an advantage.
  • Experience in a Product Management role is an advantage.
  • Experience in e-commerce is an advantage.
