Shire is a busy and successful family-owned company based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, manufacturing a large range of garden buildings such as sheds, summerhouses, log cabins alongside many others.
We are currently recruiting Customer Service Advisors to join our close, vibrant team based in Wisbech.
Customer service experience would be of benefit but not essential, ideally in a Customer Service/Contact Centre environment with high call volume.
Main responsibilities will include making outbound calls to offer customer’s delivery dates for their garden building orders, receiving calls from existing customers and helping with their enquiries relating to their orders.
This is a fast-paced environment and applicants should hold the ability to work efficiently to their own initiative whilst deploying a ‘Can do’ attitude and strive to satisfy customers by creating a smooth customer experience
Responsibilities
- Responding to high volumes of inbound telephone calls from existing customers, you will act as first point of contact for our customers calling to book deliveries or with order enquiries.
- You will proactively manage our customer’s expectations and deliver excellent and efficient customer service.
- Determine customer requirements and identify the best solution in line with company processes and procedures.
Skills Required:
· Excellent & Confident Communication Skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work under pressure in a busy, open plan office environment.
· Literate in Microsoft Office programs and the use of the Internet.
· Must be customer focused.
· Full training and on-going support will be provided for successful candidates.
· This is a full-time position, working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with Saturdays and Bank Holidays to be covered on a rota basis when required.
