Customer Experience Team Member

We are looking for confident, versatile, and flexible Customer Experience Team Member to join our team. In our fast-paced venue, no two days’ will look the same as you will be trained in all areas. These include bars, hosting, access and ushering.

This is a great opportunity to pick up a range of skills. Those looking to develop further, will also have the option to train with our ticketing and sales team to work on the box office.

There has been a theatre on George Street, Oxford for almost 185 years. The first theatre was built in 1836, and a second in 1886. In 1908, the Dorrill family took over the venue and finally in 1934, the third Theatre opened; the ‘New Theatre’. Stanley Dorrill masterminded the rebuilding of the theatre as we know it today. He commissioned a new building from the well-known theatre architects William and T.R. Milburn of Sunderland. The Milburns developed the decadent art-deco interior with T.P Bennett and Sons, who also designed the Saville Theatre in London

As a Customer Experience Team Member you’ll make this happen. The charismatic and welcoming face of the company, you’ll offer the highest standards of customer service and care. You’ll ensure we meet our financial targets by making customers want to return and by selling products and packages on the night, ranging from traditional programmes and ice creams to exciting new cocktails in our luxury bars.

Full of variety, this role is both fun and challenging. You’ll take responsibility for a range of tasks as part of a friendly, passionate and ambitious team, working in our unique theatre with an ever-changing programme of events.
