The Wealth Management Portfolio Solutions and Research Support team supports the Solutions business across all global client channels, including the US Private Bank, International Private Bank, and US Wealth Management.
The role requires the ability to deal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interaction with all levels of the organization. The qualified candidate will drive strategic implementation and program governance.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of program/project management to deliver sustainable investing regulatory compliance across the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management platform. They will support:
- All activities of the program lifecycle
- Partnering with colleagues that are engaged with sustainable investing regulations across the firm, in product development, marketing, operations, technology and control functions
- Client experience and managing the risk of the organization
- Financial planning, capacity planning, strategy, structure, budget, metrics and resource allocation for the program teams
- Strategic and tactical improvements to operating model, process, staffing and technology enhancement related to the program
- Regulatory requirements, external and internal audits
- Senior business and senior Operations leadership communications
- Extracting timely, meaningful and decision-useful insights from multiple ESG data sets
- Stay up to date on ESG data vendors' offering and upcoming changes to data points
- Participate in scrum and sprint planning meetings
- Assist with functional/UAT testing and quality assurance as part of the ESG technology strategy
- Assisting with the development of and developing a working knowledge of the proprietary ESG data methodology and data quality framework, in collaboration with regulatory project and program managers
- Partner and act as the bridge between developers/programmers and regulation owners/project managers
- Produce regular and ad-hoc material to support various regulatory committees and working groups
- Identify and escalate systems and calculation-related issues
- Assist with ESG data analytics and visualization needs
- Perform vendor outreach and comparative analysis between market ESG data providers, and provide formal recommendations based on targeted research / analysis of said data
- Facilitate end to end ESG data provider analysis, including facilitating data trials, and preparing documentation for working groups and marketing to the broader stakeholders
Experience:
- Relevant prior experience managing global, large scale projects or business initiatives across lines of businesses with experience facing all functions, regions and senior stakeholders within the organization
- Innovation and change management to drive efficiencies and scale in a controlled manner

- Demonstrated ability to raise issues to relevant stakeholders or management with respect to the control environment.
- Experience of ESG and climate-related metrics, factors and datasets highly beneficial
- Consistent track record of success in regulatory change management
- Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly evolving data landscape
- Ability to exercise discretion with highly sensitive and material information
- Appreciation of controls, data governance and oversight and target operating models
- Demonstrated ability to manage several multifaceted comparative analyses and maintaining good communication across all levels of stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Relevant prior experience with hands-on regulatory change, change transformation, or project management experience in the financial industry expected
- Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional and matrixed organizational model
- Strong team player with ability to work with teams at all levels of the organization
- Ability to quickly build relationships and influence colleagues, business leaders, and functional partners
- Strong background and proven ability to transform processes across multiple business areas; Vocal in challenging business-as-usual operating models and recommending innovative improvements
- Excellent analytical skills, communications and presentation skills; Confident communicator with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal and written updates for all levels of the organization
- Excellent judgement, risk / control mindset
- Knowledge of agile project management with a data and digital transformation-focussed mindset
- SQL, Tableau, Confluence, Excel and JIRA experience required
- Good communication skills to developing working relationships within a multi-cultural and geographically distributed team
- Knowledge of ESG market data providers and commonly used metrics preferred
