Able to prepare and cook from a la carte menu to a large cooking scale for groups and parties, offering an excellent package.The chef must implement the company's kitchen and food hygiene rules and follow the recipes to produce high-quality food with multi-tasking skills. The chef will work in a busy environment that requires consistency in cooking, flexibility, and working well under pressure.We welcome anyone interested, proactive & enthusiastic to join our team and develop a career path in the hospitality, event and catering industry.Duties and Responsibilities:· Duties include cooking Curry dishes (Nepalese, Indian Cuisine) of high quality in a high-pressure restaurant kitchen environment;· Maintaining a cooking speed, consistency in blending in-house spices, preparing sauces, using the right balance of spices, herbs & ingredients to produce consistent flavour;· Cooking dishes to order and according to dietary requirements of customers, if required;· Establishing a food budget, cost controls measures, actively participate with management in planning special menus, cost-effective promotional ideas;· Carrying out other supervisory duties as appropriate and as requested by the Head Chef;· Complying with food hygiene requirements; Maintaining all equipment through due care and diligence as instructed;· Portion control; Reducing wastage; etc.Qualification/Experience required:The candidate must have at least three years' experience in a similar role with supervisory experience.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £26,200.00 per yearBenefits:FlexitimeSchedule:FlexitimeExperience:Chef: 1 year (preferred)Cooking: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 10/11/2023Reference ID: Curry chef_Oct 2023
