The Product Marketing team, part of our Marketing team, is focused on messaging, positioning, competitive intelligence, storytelling, and ensuring that our products reach the right audience to drive strong conversions throughout the buyer’s journey.

Simply put, you are passionate about the way teachers teach, students learn, and how our solutions inspire the future of learning and drive student growth. This position is full-time and reports to the Director of Product Marketing, Literacy and World Languages.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Design and execute go-to-market and campaign plans, including awareness, lead generation, cross-sell, and up-sell strategies based on launch strategy and product lifecycles.
  • Build positioning and messaging for Literacy and World Languages solutions and ensure all teams are equipped to communicate a consistent message to the market.
  • Test and improve product messaging by routinely creating and/or updating collateral, webpages, and sales enablement tools.
  • Lead with data and evidence as you make strategic decisions, provide recommendations to internal and cross-functional teams, and grow your understanding of our buyers.
  • Partner with Product teams, being the voice of our customers and buyers in a way that translates into product enhancements and improvements.
  • Add to your understanding of our competition through market research, competitive analysis, and routinely engaging with our customers and the overall education market.
  • Work to connect marketing strategies to cross-discipline and cross-company programs, implementing cohesive and consistent messaging that enhances the portfolio message and collection of brands, supporting product marketing needs and efforts across other subject areas as needed.
  • Connect CL brand with customers and drive business results by blending strategy, creative content, technology, and analysis.

WHAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR BOOKBAG

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience. Experience in education or ed-tech markets is a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, supporting your ability to make significant product marketing decisions.
  • Proven ability to work successfully with sales, product management, and customer success teams.
