Job description

Role Purpose:

The Associate Creative Director role is to lead the day-to-day responsibilities of the creative department by managing the creative workflow process, providing project management for ongoing projects, and monitoring the performance for the creative team. The Associate Creative Director will assist with creative direction alongside the Creative Director by working with the design team on concepts and campaigns for multiple projects. Must be able to maintain a good relationship with clients, internal project managers, and account executives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creative process of the department, from initial request to final customer approval.
  • Provide project management for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure projects meet timelines and customer requirements.
  • Help creative team overcome obstacles & work closely with the Creative Director to offer creative solutions by translating customer ideas to design concepts.
  • Assure quality standards are met by proofreading and providing feedback on all design work before client review.
  • Traffic creative proofs from the design team to internal customer service teams and/or clients.
  • Initiative to work with clients and account executives to receive necessary information to meet project requirements.
  • Communicate project expectations, statuses and needs with clients and internal Customer Service Teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift project priorities based on client needs.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Always thinking about ways to improve our workflow and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of project management within a design setting
