Want to make a difference in design? TfGM is working to make transport across the city region the best it can be for everyone. Every Journey. Every Day. We are looking for someone to join our in-house design studio, helping us fulfil our goal to produce the best work possible for the network and internal clients. You will be working with a diverse range of both print and digital projects, delivering artwork to a high standard and within various specifications.
Your role
As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Design Leads and wider team to interpret briefs and produce work which aligns with our brand and campaign guidelines. You’ll also line manage and be a source of inspiration and guidance for a Junior Creative Artworker. You will need to take part in creative briefings and production meetings – particularly w.a lot of artwork is required. T.is plenty of variety in our work, from reports to social media assets and even presentations, all of which will require your firm grasp of production specifications, end use and eye for detail. Most importantly, you’ll need to be able to take direction and feedback, whilst also stretching your creative muscles to produce artwork that meets and exceeds expectations.

Transport for Greater Manchester’s Design Studio is crucial to delivering the mayor’s vision of an integrated transport network – the Bee Network. Our creative eye watches over all visual elements of the organisation’s activities, whilst working to deliver assets across a wide range of mediums. With projects ranging across digital and print, we thrive under quick turnarounds and pride ourselves on our ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who has a background either agency or client-side, who will bring a strong portfolio and track record of delivering a wide range of creative artwork solutions. You will combine creative vision and talent with experience of leadership within a busy design studio. You’ll need to be a quick thinker, able to work reactively whilst keeping a level head about priorities and other projects. An organised, methodical thinker with a variety of experience across digital and print, you’ll be a real team player with a keen eye for detail who wants to make a real difference through their work.

You will also receive:
- A salary of £37,435 - £41,892 per annum depending on experience
