ACM, the Institute for Creative Industries Education, has recently launched a brand new degree in ‘Creative Industries Futures’ . To further support the delivery of this programme we are expanding our team by hiring tutors across all areas of the organisation.
At ACM our Tutors play a critical role in achieving excellent, measurable, quality results in the education sector for all of our students.
Applicants should have proven experience in HE teaching within areas such as Music Performance (Guitar/Bass/Drums/Keys/Vocals), Music Production, Songwriting, Creative Artistry, Rap & MC, Music Business and Entrepreneurship, Music Analysis, Games Development, Games Art & Animation, Academic Research, Creative and Cultural Industries Research and/or Project Management.
We are looking for people who can add their own excellence in their chosen field to enhance our creative industries education environment even further.
ACM has campuses in London, Birmingham and Guildford, delivering a mixture of on-site and online learning. Our innovative curriculum model includes the UK’s first accelerated degree programme with integrated Masters qualification and pioneering short-courses. Our tutors are dedicated industry professionals with a passion for teaching and developing our students within their chosen specialisms.
Also within the ACM group is Metropolis Studios, Europe’s largest recording complex, where over 50% of UK chart music is recorded, mixed or mastered in an average year. The ACM-Metropolis partnership connects our cutting edge curriculum to real-world industry practice, supported by collaboration in research, development and large-scale projects.
We are recruiting for variable hours and permanent contracts ranging from HE Cohort Tutor to Senior Lecturer level (subject to your level of experience and qualifications).
