Your New Role...
Creative & Design Graduate Interns will support various Warner Bros. Discovery’s teams. In these roles you may find yourself creating & designing assets for marketing and events or creating digital product experiences for global streaming services on the web, mobile and smart TV.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our millions of users.
- Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant.
- Produce a variety of wireframes and prototypes to demonstrate ideas and concepts for our digital products.
- Create designs for the full end-to-end user experience, from brainstorming, whiteboarding and concepting to creating pixel-perfect high fidelity designs.
- Work closely with designers, developers and tech to resolve technical and/or design issues and implement concepts into live products.
- Participate in design reviews and present concepts to the rest of the team and our stakeholders.
- Translate feedback to actionable tasks.
- Research the media and streaming industry and propose ideas that follow best practices and accessibility standards.
- Work with product designers to understand the project scope and objectives.
- Support senior designers with a variety of design needs .
- Follow methodologies, team processes and design systems.
- Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process.
- Work on different project simultaneously and prioritise tasks .
- Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
- Work with other designers and researchers to gather insights using user research to test our products .
Qualifications & Experience...
- You must be a recent or soon-to-be university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2021.
- Passion for design
- A relevant creative degree and a portfolio of work
- Working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Protopie, Photoshop and other related design tools
- Good understanding of User Experience design and Visual Design (any animation or motion experience will be a bonus)
- Knowledge of responsive web and mobile design
- Good communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage own workload
The Internship...
Salary: £26,000
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: Likely to be 14th August 2023
You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more.
You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!
