We're looking for A Counter Fraud Policy Investigators to join our Counter Fraud Operations Department, reporting into our Counter Fraud Team Leader. This role has a hybrid working style where you will work onsite from our Bromley office twice a month (frequency subject to change) and the rest of the time from home.
We have x4 permanent positions and one 12 month secondment available.
What you'll be doing:
You will deliver Counter Fraud benefit by identifying and investigating insurance fraud and undertake investigations to validate or substantiate concerns.
You will carry out effective portfolio management, including proactive review of new work and conversion to detect benefit, whilst ensuring SLA’s and the lifecycle of cases are kept within process guidelines.
You will make sure all cases follow legislation and risk regulations set internally and by external governing bodies.
You will manage customer expectations, including enquiries into indemnity, liability and update them throughout the lifecycle of an investigation.
You will demonstrate capability in preventing and detecting insurance fraud, and have the ability to manage potential outcomes including, but not limited to; cancellation, voidance, repudiation, negotiating settlement, litigation and recovery.
You will conduct cognitive investigation interviews, assessing behaviour and fraud types, ensuring informed decisions are made.
You will mitigate spend and control the cost of investigations by identifying threats, leakage and refer to senior staff members.
You will demonstrate effective use of all available MI to prioritise workload and drive own performance.
You will provide advice, guidance and direction to relevant key stake holders including; Underwriting, Customer Relations, AML, Internal investigations, Bodily Injury, Motor Claims, Home Claims and Technical and Large Loss to maximise fraud detection opportunities.
What you'll need:
You will have experience within the insurance or fraud industry.
Previous experience in claims handling (Home/ Travel/ Motor) is desirable.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently.
