Are you an experienced industry professional in the field of Costume and Wardrobe/Styling? We are seeking a qualified and passionate individual to run a short course introducing the basics of this.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Costume and Wardrobe Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials and practical workshops to our students. They will teach students how to design, create, and manage costumes and wardrobe for theatre, film, television, and other performance settings. The successful candidate will have a passion for the art of costume and wardrobe design and a deep understanding of the technical skills required to succeed in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver lectures and tutorials on costume and wardrobe design, construction, and management.
- Create and manage practical workshops for students to gain hands-on experience in costume and wardrobe design.
- Assess and grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and innovations.
- Participate in course development and planning.
Requirements:
- A degree in Costume Design, Theatre Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the costume and wardrobe industry.
- Strong technical skills in costume and wardrobe design, construction, and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £26.37-£31.31 per hour
