We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team within the Rivoli Bar as Bartender.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests while maintaining The Ritz London’s 5-star luxury standards. As a Bartender, responsibilities also includes:
- To welcome guests at the bar counter in a professional, efficient and polite manner and serve them food and drinks in the Rivoli Bar and drinks only in the bar foyer.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward clients, the Rivoli Bar team and other departments.
- To ensure that you are clear on, and have a good understanding of all the necessary tasks and requirements of the Rivoli Bar that are necessary to their position.
- To attend all monthly departmental meetings in order to keep staff members informed and up to date with any issues that are necessary. These meetings also provide a suitable arena for all members of the department to speak about any departmental suggestions or issues they may have.
- Complaints – To ensure that all guest/client complaints are dealt with immediately and professionally either in person or in correspondence ensuring that the guest/client is satisfied with the service given. A written record of any such complaint should be documented and passed on to the Bar & Lounge
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant experience in a 5* property is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
