Are you an accomplished Corporation Tax Professional? I am recruiting for a 6-month fixed-term contract to join our finance team to support the Head of Corporation Tax Compliance and Reporting through our busy interim accounts 2023/24 reporting period.

About the role
You'll be responsible to deliver the corporate tax provision calculations and disclosures for the 2022/23 statutory accounts and for 2023/24 Interim accounts. Responsibility for tax reporting of the International group and tax computations of the UK group taking day-to-day ownership of UK corporate tax compliance, tax forecasting and tax accounting.
You'll calculate interim and full year tax provisions for group and individual company accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS. This includes preparation of the International group tax consolidation, accounts disclosures, journals, liaising with external auditors and overseas subsidiaries’ accounts staff and preparing papers for the Group auditors summarising key tax issues.
About You
To be successful in this FTC you need to be able to demonstrate the following experience and qualifications in your CV & interview.
- ACA and/or CTA (or equivalent)
- Extensive tax compliance experience. You''l have worked at the one of the Big Four or gained your experience in a large complex organisation.
- Extensive experience in deferred tax accounting and modelling.
- Highly numerate with extensive experience of working with large Excel tax models.
- Experienced in Alphatax tax software and other systems such as SAP
- Excellent negotiating and literacy skills.
