However, location is flexible and candidates local to Yorkshire are encouraged to apply as there is the option to work from our Leeds office. What you’ll be doing… Reporting to the Group Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Executive, you will be asked to assist and progress the M&A projects across the Group, including: External sourcing, retrieval, analysis, and display of data for ongoing development of pipeline research Construction of financial analyses and models for recommendations and strategic decisions Supporting the team on the execution of domestic and cross-border M&A projects across the Group Use project management tools to maintain and continually update the Group’s M&A project workflows Design ad-hoc presentations and other value-added material for the Group Communicate and work closely with Board-level stakeholders and third-party advisors Your background… Must have… STEM Educated 1-2 years’ experience in Corporate Finance/Investment Banking/Private Equity Excellent communication and presentation skills Outstanding Microsoft Office proficiency Financial modelling and analysis experience Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage priorities effectively Nice to have… Exposure to chemicals/industrials sectors Experience in sell-side/buy-side private and public corporate transactions Familiarity with financial databases (e.g. FactSet, PitchBook, S&P, Bloomberg) Power BI, VBA, SQL and/or Python Comfortable interpreting and drafting legal language What we can offer you… Office Based with some home working Based in Runcorn, Cheshire or Leeds, West Yorkshire Flexible working around core hours of 9am – 5pm Career development opportunities Generous holiday allowance with buy/sell holiday scheme Mental and physical wellbeing initiatives Volunteering days A bit about us… Maintaining a portfolio of Material & Life Science companies, the 2M Group of Companies is committed to delivering chemistry-based solutions for a better life today and a better world tomorrow. 2M Group is headquartered in the UK with customers in over 90 countries.
