We are transforming the way that we support hiring at Huhtamaki to meet the demands of our business and to ensure a great experience for our candidates and colleagues. As a result, we are now building a small, specialist internal Talent Acquisition team in our Global HR organization. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process of senior level global and segment function positions, supporting our Senior Leaders all around the world to source, assess and hire the best talent into Huhtamaki. You will lead and advise hiring teams and bring innovative ideas and strategies to their recruiting processes as well as create and drive strong sourcing strategies with proactive candidate outreach to develop our talent pools. You will have significant recruiting and candidate sourcing experience, ideally working as a recruiter for an agency as well as within a business organization.
You will be based in Europe, ideally in one of the following countries: Germany, Netherlands, Finland, UK, Poland, Czechia, Spain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Take full responsibility for the end-to-end lifecycle and coordination of the recruitment process, from defining requirements with hiring managers to screening, interviewing, and making offers as well as ensuring a smooth entry to our onboarding process
  • Partner and coach hiring managers to create and execute against recruitment strategies and influence hiring decisions
  • Build and maintain strong networks and relationships to develop strong candidate pipelines and talent pools
  • Be a strategic and trusted thought partner to global business leaders and other internal organizations across Huhtamaki
  • Develop and manage effective relationships with key recruitment agencies and vendors, setting KPIs, tracking performance and measuring quality
  • Effectively track and analyse key recruiting metrics and market insights for responsibility area, ensuring highest data quality is captured in all systems and regular analytics are shared with business lines to inform data driven decisions
  • Actively collaborate with Global and Local HR Ops teams to create visibility of ongoing recruitment activities, receive advice and support on local recruitment considerations and find synergies amongst recruiting processes
  • Participate in global TA development projects related to systems/tools and processes; piloting, testing and scaling new ways of workings within your responsibility area
  • Be a role model for great recruiting, through sharing your knowledge with others, being a source of guidance & expertise
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Significant recruiting experience for senior positions in an international organization
  • Experience recruiting in a packaging or FMCG organisation is highly preferred
  • Understanding of recruitment best practices and methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing and networking
  • Experience with recruitment sourcing tools, including LinkedIn and applicant tracking systems; Workday preferred
  • Strong interviewing experience and an understanding of diverse candidate assessment methodologies
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a transforming environment, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and recruitment engagements
  • Highly resourceful, collaborative and self-driven with the ability to develop strong relationships quickly and remotely across multiple geographies and cultural teams
  • Strong communications and change management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is a must, others are advantage)
  • Be passionate about improving the imperfect – we are constantly looking for ways to work smarter!
  • Minimal travel may be required (up to 15%)
