Purpose of Position
The Lead Copywriter is a natural storyteller for the leader in private aviation, and ensures and promotes the consistency of the NetJets brand voice and messaging, for our European Market. The Copywriter crafts flawless brand communications including advertising, prospect emails, collateral, event invitations, and editorial materials. This role partners with graphic designers, Sales Team Members, Corporate Communications and members of the Marketing Team to deliver existing and prospective NetJets Owners a consistent brand experience across all channels.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Write compelling stories about the many differentiators of the NetJets brand, as well as communications for marketing activations, email communications, collateral, partnership marketing and advertising.
- Define key messages and brand voice for external communications
- Provide clean copy documents for translation partners and produce high-quality assets that best represent our brand and meet NetJets’ voice and tone standards (European colloquialisms and British English).
- Oversee the work provided by the Translation & Localisation Coordinator guaranteeing high-quality assets that best represent our brand and meet NetJets’ voice and tone standards
- Manage content planning, research and collaboration with team members across the marketing team and the business.
- Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
- Create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and marketing campaigns
- Brainstorm and manage projects and juggle multiple deliverables by always meeting deadlines.
- Define key messages and brand voice for external communications
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Translation Coordinator working on localization strategies, requirements & initiatives that deliver a great user experience on non-English points of interaction
- Manage and develop NetJets in-market brand voice to support all marketing materials
- Oversee the translation processes for all marketing activities necessary
- Oversee the relationship with external translation agency

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
- Strong editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
- Experience with SEO copywriting best practices
- Experience with social media and content marketing
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- Passion for writing with an excellent portfolio of work
- Expertise with Microsoft Word
- Detail-oriented, creative, and proactive
