Summary
Great marketing ensures we offer an inspirational and effective customer experience, which means we must understand how our customers want to shop our Clothing & Home products and present them in a compelling way - be that through store environment, packaging, POS décor, email marketing, social media, communications and SEO.
It also helps us build great relationships with our trade partners to make sure we build profitable partnerships that increase brand and category growth.
With a huge focus on how we use data to drive sales and improve customer experience - we’re super excited for what’s to come. As we continue to transform our Clothing & Home business - the sky is the limit and this role is a great opportunity to make a significant contribution to our success!
Please note this role is a 9 month maternity cover.
About the Role
Our copy team is looking for an experienced copywriter to deliver compelling creative copy and comms for our clothing and home units. You’ll be a skilled, imaginative writer with a passion for storytelling and a flair for crafting market-leading, engaging copy. You’ll be inquisitive, conceptual and a champion for continual improvement. You’ll have impeccable attention to detail, a collaborative nature and be competent in juggling multiple briefs, projects and deadlines at pace, with ease.
- Delivering engaging, brand-appropriate copy across all channels and touchpoints, from CRM to site landing page updates, buying guides, social media posts, UX comms, AV content, in-store point of sale and much more
- Working closely with our design team to turn creative briefs into compelling, impactful campaigns and messaging, from concepts through to implementation, ensuring a smooth customer journey
- Supporting all business units across the clothing and home category
- Flexing your writing style for different business needs, while ensuring a consistent, seamless tone of voice
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders across Brand Marketing, Dotcom and all business units, managing feedback with diplomacy
- Monitoring competitor activity and sharing your thoughts and findings with the rest of the copy team
- Taking direction, but also going beyond what is asked and constantly challenging yourself
- Maintaining a consistently high standard in all copy, ensuring there is little room for error
About You
- Solid brand and digital copywriting experience across multiple channels
- Excellent communication skills and written English
- Stellar writing, editing and proof-reading skills
- Expert in clear, concise, imaginative copywriting
- Proactive approach, positive outlook
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where change is constant
