About the Role
Zeelo is a venture capital backed mobility tech scaleup growing fast across the UK and US. To support our ambitious plans, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to support our CEO and wider leadership team
Reporting to the Co-Founder & CEO, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the company, partnering to plan and implement Zeelo's vision and strategy. In this fast-paced and diverse role, you will create leverage for the CEO and wider-leadership team, oversee day-to-day operations, drive and implement key strategic initiatives, and align priorities across the organisation. Previous projects include designing and implementing our OKR frameworks, identifying and negotiating with M&A targets and implementing new commercial models. To thrive in this role, you need to have high-EQ, be able to learn quickly, be a curious problem-solver, be hungry to succeed and be extremely organised.

What you'll do
- Work with the CEO on strategic priorities of the company including portfolio strategy, company building, competitive positioning, commercial strategy.
- Manage and lead special projects for the Executive team across GTM, Product and Operations
- Promote team integration as well as cross-functional communication and collaboration; also striving to ensure great communicating between the Executive team and the wider company to ensure alignment and support is given where necessary
- Establish clear organizational structures, with accompany objectives/KPI and processes to support the company to scale effectively across multiple regions and offices
- Proactively follow up with the leadership team if and when goals and actions are not being achieved and provide actionable recommendations for improvements
- Providing analysis, recommendations, and options to the CEO regarding high impact decisions, as well as assessing risk when business decisions are made.
- Organize, facilitate and prepare for key leadership team and board meetings
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement and make recommendations to the CEO.
- Design and establish business processes in line with strategic priorities and to enable scaling.
- Draft communications and board presentations on behalf of the executive team
- Identify and manage potential external partnerships.
Requirements:
- At least 4-5 years experience in a fast-paced environment covering strategy and operations (start-up/scale-up, strategy consulting, investment banking)
- Outstanding EQ, ability and build relationships internally and externally
- Track record of excellence and progression
- Organized, strong attention to detail and project management experience
- You are curious, logical and a very structured thinker who can break down complex problems and leverage data in all your work
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to effectively prioritise various workstreams
- Strong commercial acumen
