Our Opportunity
This role forms a key part of the operational success of the finance team within Pick Everard.
You will work alongside supportive colleagues to ensure that the business runs as smoothly as possible.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Management of balance sheet reconciliations for two companies
- Assisting with month end accounts
- Preparing lead schedules for the monthly accounts
- Payroll reconciliations/ holiday pay accruals
- Maintenance of overhead budget reportig
- VAT return production for review
- Assisting the Financial Controller / FD with the implementation of financial controls / documenting of financial processes.
- Compiling other ad hoc analysis and summaries to management to assist in the efficient day to day running of the business.
About You
- Part qualified CIMA / ACCA
- Experience working in a finance department
- Experience of contract accounting would be a distinct advantage
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to work to strict deadlies
- Organisational skills; planning skills
- Experience with Access Dimensions would be a distinct advantage
